For this piece alone, I did a whole series concept design for the abyssal race, including this tough mermaid princess, her mount, the environment she was raised and her enemies.
According the ancient ceremony of the abyssal race, the queen will preserve her spirit in a crystal ball to become immortal. Her power and knowledge will pass on to the next generation.
