"2008共通平台国际新媒体环保主题巡回展"——中国首展于2008年11月9日至19日在北京环铁时代美术馆举行。此次巡回展的主办单位为Common Ground，承办单位为环铁时代美术馆、leewiART、北京电影学院、中国传媒大学。
The first exhibition of 2008 Common Ground International New Media Mobile Exhibition on Environmental Protection is held from 9 to 19 November 2008 in Beijing Huan Tie Times Museum. Common Ground is the sponsor with joint organizers of Huan Tie Times Museum, LeewiART, Beijing Movie Academy and Communication University of China.
本次展览的主题是数字图形(CG)艺术与环境保护,展览届时将有包括中国在内的全球四十个国家的５０位艺术家参展，其中很大一部分是来自于传统艺术家之手，他们正在将数字工具与传统的艺术创作方式进行不断的融合,这表明CG正在从一种单纯的计算机视觉生产工具演变成一种新型的艺术形式。
The exhibition is themed to promote CG art and environmental protection, with more than 50 artists from 40 countries including china to participate. The majority works are from traditional artists, who are trying to merge the digital tools with traditional art creation. It shows that CG is turning simply from a computer visual production tool to a new form of art.
leewiART作为全球领先的数字图形(CG)艺术推广机构,为展览中的所有作品提供数字艺术画制作技术,另外还选送了4幅来自中国的优秀作品，并收入画册。
Being the world leader in promoting CG art, LeewiART provided all digital production of the artworks for the exhibition, as well as selecting 4 Chinese artworks to be included in the album.
